Tornado in the Czech Republic

Thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds hit the Czech Republic on June 23. These climatic phenomena resulted in the accident of the line of the transmission system of the Czech Republic with a voltage level of 400 kV connecting the Temelín power station with the Kočín transformer station. The line accident in the 1,170 m long section consisted of the destruction of three support masts, damage to conductors, grounding cables and equipment on the masts. The company ELEKTROTRANS participates in eliminating the consequences of the accident of the V052 line by processing the project documentation for the repair of the damaged section for the company EGEM s.r.o., which carries out the repair for the company ČEPS, a.s.
