This year’s Safety Week took place from 19 to 23 May across our company. The theme of “last minute change” proved to be very apt – these are the situations that are easy to overlook but can have serious consequences.

During the week we focused on specific situations from the field, shared experiences and talked about how unexpected changes affect our attention and decision making. There were training sessions, discussions on sites and in offices, and the company’s management got involved.

Thanks to the company’s JOBka app, which is used by almost all employees, it was possible to share via video cases where a last-minute change put people’s lives at risk and only because work was stopped nothing serious happened.

We thank all our colleagues for their proactive approach – safety is everybody’s business. It is only through open communication and a willingness to say STOP in time that we can prevent accidents together.
